Toward a Continuous Precipitation Platform for High-Potency Payload-Linker Manufacturing
Precipitation is widely used for the isolation and purification of payload-linker compounds. However, conventional batch precipitation may require long processing times and substantial reactor occupancy, and scale-up can be affected by mixing, nucleation, particle growth, and filtration behavior.
In this scientific poster, we evaluate continuous precipitation for a high-potency payload-linker product at gram scale with no compromise to product purity. Controlled aging is critical to promote particle growth and improve downstream filtration. Mixing and aging parameters should be optimized as an integrated strategy rather than independent variables. These findings lay a foundation for further development of an integrated isolation process.
